### Course policy

##### Grading

**Homework (10%****):**- Each homework assignment shall have a typical submission deadline of 2 weeks later after announcement. As the next assignment is posted on the website, the official solution of the previous assignment will be posted as well.
- Once a solution has been posted, students will be asked to grade their own homework and submit their grades by a weekly deadline. During the semester the course staff will confirm the grading of 3 randomly selected questions.
- One homework, with the lowest grade, will not be taken into account in computing the average.
- The students are asked to follow the above instructions, with no exceptions:
- Submission of HW assignment without grading it will be considered as if the HW assignment has not been submitted, and no credit will be given for that HW assignment.
- The HW deadlines are strict! Requests for postponing the deadline will be declined, except for particular circumstances (Miluim, special family occasions, etc...) and only if the request has been sent to the staff members before the deadline.
**Final assignment (90%)**: At the end of the semester, a final assignment will be announced. The grade of the final assignment will be evaluated based on two components:**Work (50%)**: The students will be asked to submit their solutions to the website. Their work will be graded by the staff members.**Oral exam (40%)**: The students will be asked to present their work to the staff members.
